**I have had one of these for about 5 years and my 65# dog has slept on it every night and I am having to replace it now due to sinking in the middle, but I think that is a pretty reasonable life span.
**Though it’s been a couple of years now and the beds have still held up as well as the waterproof cover and the denim cover. Best bed I’ve ever bought.
**Each foam piece has a fixed cover on the foam.
Then you also receive a brown light weight cover that goes on second , followed by the denim top cover! All very nicely sewn and with nice zippers. So 3 layers on each bed! Two removable and washable.
**These beds are great and are the favorites of all the dogs.
The cover is easily removed and washed and the inner layer is waterproof. All in all, the only bed we buy. Although initially expensive, worth the cost in the long run.
**UPDATE!3 years later and the bed is still like new. The denim cover is washed often and is starting to show the regular wear that denim does. No rips, tears or holes. The hook that held the zipper did finally break about a week ago but does not affect the actual zipper so it’s all good.
Since this purchase, I have purchased 4 more slightly smaller for our other “kids”
Make sure to get the waterproof liner. They have been a product saver more than once.

It came with 3 removable covers: 1 waterproof liner, 1 denim cover, and 1 suede cloth cover with non-skid dots on the bottom. We ordered an additional denim cover because, well, she couldn’t move and didn’t always hit the pee pads.
The bed helps dogs with their healing
The 2 outer covers launder well with NO noticeable shrinking (washed in warm water/cold rinse/high spin, tumble dried on low) the waterproof liner is impervious to liquid (cleaned with Lysol spray) and Rosie loves her bed. It gives her such good support, I know it has helped with her fast healing.
She’s been with us for 6 weeks now and on this bed for 5. I cannot recommend it highly enough for an older or injured dog – and think it’s a great bed for any dog. Maybe even small humans. LOL

**I bought this bed in 2013 for our 2 senior shepherds (Australian and German). It was easy on their aches and pains from hip issues, and they used it daily. It’s now 2018 and STILL hasn’t developed a “dent” after all these years.
Looks just like a new bed-still giving that soft but firm “tempurpedic-type” comfort our babies love. Our shepherds have since passed and now it’s our lab mix’s fav spot. The covers that come w/bed have protected it and kept it clean and odor free.
I will never buy another brand of bed
I’ve ordered new denim covers, but the foam bed remains perfection. Will never buy another brand. If you want proper support for your pets-this is it. This is a great product.
This bed came with two covers
** Bought for Great Dane and lab both 125 pounds one large and one xl. Have spent hundreds of dollars on pet beds. This one is 100% waterproof, totally encased In plastic cover. Came with two covers, denim is my favorite. Dogs had no wait time for smell or anything I saw in other reviews.
**This bed has saved so much frustration. I was washing dog beds multiple times a week due to incontinence issues with Great Dane. She’s already had issues on this bed, took the cover off, wiped the plastic cover with bleach and put the other cover on.
Con’s of this bed
**The bed is the size I expected and the product I expected. What I didn’t expect is that it would still have a very odd odor about nearly a month and that my dogs wouldn’t go near it.
The only reason I’m keeping it is because it is very heavy and would cost quite a bit to return if I could even manage to get it in a box to ship.
**This bed is comfortable enough for my dog.
However, the construction of the external denim cover is not as durable as it may seem in reading the description. If your dog is a chewer or a digger, don’t buy this item.
The customer representative was responsive and sent us a new denim cover, which I appreciated.
**My dogs LOVE this foam bed…
We’ve had the bed for about a year. We haven’t had any problems with washing the cover or zippers, but one of our ‘fur kids’ threw up on the bed.
Since I knew the liner was ‘waterproof’, I didn’t rush to clean it. After about 15 minutes I took the cover and liner off and the liquid had soaked through to the foam mattress. I am very disappointed and now am searching for an alternative liner.
**My dog friends have emphatically decided that memory foam is terrible and they would rather lay on the rug or even the hardwood floor than use their new bed. Ungrateful.
The bed seems to be well made
Dog preferences aside this bed seems well made. They probably deserve a better rating from me. Even though the bed is made for dogs, my dogs hate it. So I give it 3 stars!
