** know how frustrating it is to find a quality dog bed! And, how disappointing it is to invest money into one that doesn’t hold up. Ugh! For these reasons I want to share my experience with my “Friends Forever” purchase in hopes that it will help someone else. This is by far one of the best dog beds I have ever purchased and at a good/fair price for the quality.

** We have two dogs and a lot of dog beds. I was looking for something supportive for my older dog. This bed purchase has been the best so far. Easy to put together right out of the box; the bolster is already zippered in and the mattress, once unsealed and expanded, fits easily into its cover and zips in to the bottom portion. So far it has been easy to vacuum and clean. The bed is light and easily movable, yet doesn’t shift when on the floor. My old lab loves it! He is close to 80 lbs and the large size works for him. I will purchase this bed again.

There are so many 5 star reviews from buyers that are extremely happy with their Friends Forever bed. However there are a few out of over 1500 reviews that are not so happy.
Cons of the Friends Forever dog bed
From a few buyers the main complaints are: a toxic smell and the fact that the beds are made in China and not the US.
One owner says their dog shreds and destroys beds, so they think with most or all beds that the fabric is too thin on the bottom. They admit that they have already had a number of other beds destroyed by their dog.
Another is… The lining inside of the bed that zips closed around the foam to “protect it” is not at all water proof.
**My puppy had a rather large accident overnight during the first two weeks that we had his new bed. We didn’t discover it until the morning and by then it had had enough time to soak through the lining completely into the foam.
